Feature: Store Manager
An AI store manager for your Shopify store
Tycoon sells and supports in the chat, and it also helps you run the store behind it. Its Store Manager reports show what to restock, what is stuck, what shoppers keep asking and what the chat could not answer, then sum it up as a short list of actions. You make the calls.
Can an AI agent manage a Shopify store?
An AI agent can take over a lot of the daily work around a Shopify store: answering shoppers, recommending products, and watching sales and stock so you know what needs attention. Tycoon does the selling and support in the chat, and its Store Manager turns your store's data into reports and a weekly list of actions. The decisions stay with you.
That split is deliberate. Tycoon reads prices and stock live from your store and never invents a figure, and anything it learns about your store goes live only after you approve it. It is built to do the repetitive watching and summarising, so the time you spend on the store goes to decisions rather than spreadsheets.
What does the Store Manager show you?
The Store Manager answers the questions an owner asks every week: what is selling, what will run out, what is not moving, what shoppers keep asking about, and what the chat could not answer. On Growth it covers core sales, stock and operations reports; on the Tycoon plan it grows to 41 reports and 6 alerts.

How does it help with restocking?
On Growth, Tycoon gives you a reorder list and a daily stock alert, so a fast seller does not quietly sell out. It also shows demand for items that are already sold out. On the Tycoon plan it adds suggested restock quantities and dates that take seasonality into account.
Demand for sold-out items is a signal most stores never see, because a shopper who finds an empty product page usually leaves without a word. The report puts that demand in front of you, so a restock decision rests on what shoppers wanted, not only on what already sold.
How does it find stock that is not moving?
The full Store Manager on the Tycoon plan shows the value of dead stock, products that have stopped selling, and proposes a bundle plan to move them. A bundle pairs a slow item with one that sells, so the offer is useful to the shopper instead of a blanket discount.
Any offer the chat makes still follows the same rules as everywhere else in Tycoon: at most one offer per reply, never when the shopper is upset or hesitant, and with the price read live from your store. See upsell and cross-sell for how offers are chosen.
What do shoppers keep asking, and what could it not answer?
From Growth up, the Store Manager lists the questions shoppers keep asking and the questions Tycoon could not answer, its knowledge gaps. Those gaps point at a missing size chart, an unclear policy or a product detail your pages do not state. Fixing one helps the chat and every shopper who reads the page.
On the Tycoon plan, the customer voice report and returns by variant and reason go further, showing which products come up again and again and why items come back. Nightly learning can then draft a proposed answer from your own pages, which goes live only after you approve it. Read more on how learning works.
What is in the weekly manager email?
Every week on Growth and up, Tycoon sends a manager email with 3 actions drawn from your reports: for example, restock a variant that is running low, add a missing detail shoppers keep asking about, or look at an item that stopped selling. Three is on purpose, so the list stays short enough to act on.
How do you know the agent is paying off?
Tycoon measures its effect with a holdout test: a small, randomly chosen share of visitors does not see it, and the dashboard compares their revenue with everyone else's. Growth includes one 30-day lift test; the Tycoon plan measures continuously. That answers the owner's real question without guessing from last-click attribution.
Our guide on measuring AI chatbot revenue with a holdout test explains the method, its limits and how to read the result.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI change my prices or inventory?
No. The Store Manager reports and suggests; you decide and act. Prices and stock are read live from your store for every answer, and the AI is never the source of a price.
Which plan includes the Store Manager?
Core Store Manager reports, daily stock alerts and the weekly email with 3 actions are on Growth. The full Store Manager with 41 reports and 6 alerts is on the Tycoon plan. See pricing.
Is Tycoon available on the Shopify App Store?
Not yet. Tycoon is in early access. You can see it on your own store today with the free demo.
Does it learn from other stores?
No. Tycoon learns only from your store, and what it learns is never shared with other stores. Merchant and shopper data are not used to train AI models without explicit written consent.
