What is Tycoon?
Tycoon is an AI sales associate for Shopify stores, currently in early access. On install it reads your catalog, policies, shipping and brand voice, you approve the facts it found, and it then guides shoppers to products, answers everyday questions and hands off to your team when a person is needed.

How much does Rep AI cost compared with Tycoon?

On October 20, 2026, Rep AI's Shopify App Store listing showed a free-to-install Pay-as-you-Grow plan with 100 free visitors a month and $12 per additional 1,000 visitors, and a Starter plan at $104 per month for up to 10,000 visitors.
The same Shopify App Store listing showed Basic at $209 per month for up to 25,000 visitors and Standard at $368 per month for up to 50,000 visitors, each with a 14-day free trial and the same $12 charge per extra 1,000 visitors. Rep AI's own pricing page did not list plan prices when we checked.
Tycoon's Free plan covers 100 conversations a month; Starter is $39 per month for 500 conversations, Growth $99 for 2,000 and the Tycoon plan $139 for 5,000. When is Rep AI the better fit?
Rep AI is the better fit when you want the assistant to start conversations itself based on shopper behavior, such as hesitation or exit risk, and when you already use the marketing and support tools it integrates with.
